26 Wed - the Eraserheads received the "Hall Of Fame" award at the 2003 NU 107 Rock Awards X...ex-lead singer Ely Buendia was the only one who went onstage to accept the award. His speech went on like this:

FAN / ARCHIVIST NOTES:
After 13 years of great music, the Eraserheads is finally over! Ely left, Kris came; Marcus left, Ebe and Diego came. Buddy's in Twisted Halo, Raimund's still with Sandwich. Ely has formed his new band, The Mongols. In the meantime, founding members and original Eheads, Raimund Marasigan and Buddy Zabala have successfully transformed "Eheads" into a "new" band called, Cambio.
Thus, officially ending a chapter in our lives called "Eraserheads"...and so as this timeline!

MAY
- a rare performance by Surfernando (aka Marcus Adoro), jamming with Buddy Zabala & Raimund Marasigan at Millenia Cafe, Kamuning. The performance featured the 3 ex-Eraserheads wearing their respective "Carbon Stereoxide" promo masks. Cambio also played that night. (The Mongols was invited but declined)

JULY
1 Thur - Eraserhead was given a special lifetime achievement award at the MTV Pilipinas Awards 2004. Ely was there to accept it & gave a speech. As usual, the other three were not there!...Artists Jimmy Bondoc, Paolo Santos, Nyoy Volante & Barbie's Cradle performed a medley of Eheads songs. - [watch video]


2005

- Raimund becomes the sole vocalist for Sandwich (Marc Abaya quit!) & also plays keyboard in another band called, Pedicab...Buddy joins The Dawn

APRIL
- Marcus Adoro aka Surfernando releases an EP, "Belma en Luis" (aka "American Gurl", the international edition).

MAY
- Ely's The Mongols disbanded...re-born as Pupil a month later.

NOVEMBER
- "Ultraelectromagneticjam: The Music of the Eraserheads" tribute compilation is released. At the launch concert at UP Theater, Diliman, Marcus Adoro joined Paolo Santos during his rendition of "Magasin". The crowd went wild...standing ovation! Buddy and Raimund were spotted in the audience...Songs from this compilation are regularly played on the radio. Even TV networks have jumped on the bandwagon & started doing "Eraserheads" specials. This CD has won Eheads new fans!

2006

For almost 8 years now, CIRCUS - the official mailing list, is still active and currently experiencing an upsurge in new membership subscriptions!
Just a few years after the "falling apart" of Eraserheads, there seems to be a new interest with the band & their music! Many fans are still hopeful of a possible reunion in the future (if not now)...LONG LIVE THE EHEADS!!!

2007
