Eraserheads Dabbles In Charity Activities, Too

The country's premiere rock band, The Eraserheads, will be holding their early Christmas treat to some unfortunate children in Quezon City tomorrow afternoon, Dec. 21. Serving as their annual charity commitment, the group will be going to an institution called Children's Rehabilitation Center in Project 4, Quezon City. The group has dabbled in this kind of charity work for the past three years already and to them it has become a tradition that shouldn't be broken. For sure, this the band's way of giving back, even a little of the fortune that they have been blessed with.

The quartet of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Raymund Marasigan and Marcus Adoro will be singing to the kids as well as facilitate parlor games for the less fortunate children. They will also be serving food and will conduct gift-giving sessions during the all afternoon charity occasion. Eraserheads' recording company, BMG Records (Pilipinas) Inc. is organizing this charity work for them.

Two years ago, Eraserheads started the tradition by reaching out to the less fortunate people in Smokey Mountain in Tondo, Manila. The following year, they picked a depressed area also in Tondo, Manila to continue their charitable inclination.

If you're wondering why it has never been written before, that's because the group doesn't want publicity for it.

But now, you know all about it.
